Media accreditation for ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 opens
The application window for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 is now open. This is an online process that can be completed by clicking here and is only for print media, websites and non-rights holding (NRH) TV and radio broadcasters.
Those who have covered any of the following ICC events will be given preference for accreditation:
- ICC Men's T20 Cricket World Cup 2026
- ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025
- ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025
- ICC World Test Championship Final 2025
- ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024
Though the record of attending previous ICC events (the ones mentioned above or other ICC events) will be considered, please note that attending previous ICC events does not guarantee you accreditation.
Media accreditation is provided for journalists to report from the venue, so all applications will be assessed accordingly, keeping in mind the media organisations, the role of the applicants, the individual applicants and media spaces available at venues.
Members of the media have until 17h00 UK time on Wednesday, 15 April to register for accreditation. As part of the process, the media will need to upload the following documents:
- A headshot colour photograph with a plain background (like a passport photo)
- Letter of approval/assignment from your Editor/Commissioning Editor – pdf or jpeg file
- Passport/National Identity Card/Driving License
- A sample of published work if you have covered any recent ICC event
- Additionally, photographers will need to upload a Public Liability Insurance Policy
The ICC reserves the right to approve/reject/request further information on all applications in its sole discretion and without providing reasons for doing so.
For letters in support of your visa or for any clarifications about the Public Liability Insurance Policy, please write to mediaoperations@ecb.co.uk. Letters in support of visas will only be provided after the completion of the accreditation process.
As at previous ICC events, NRH camerapersons will be accredited, but only reporters will be allowed in on match days. However, to facilitate the NRHs, who will be allowed to cover pre-match activities, all pre-match and post-match media conferences will be uploaded to the ICC’s Online Media Zone.
For access to the Online Media Zone, please send in your name, organisation and e-mail ID to media@icc-cricket.com. Access to the Online Media Zone is not required to apply for accreditation.
If you have any problems with the portal, please write to: T20WC26accreditation@accredit-solutions.com.
Please go through the Media Terms and Conditions and FAQs document available on the media accreditation portal carefully before submitting your application.
