Media Information for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 - Friday, 31st May

The following is the schedule of media opportunities on Friday 31 May at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024:
The USA play Canada in a group A match at 19h30 local time at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium in Dallas on Saturday, 1 June.
On their pre-match day on Friday:
- Canada will hold a training session at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium from 12h30 to 15h30. They will hold their pre-match media conference at 12h00.
- USA will hold a training session at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium from 12h30 to 15h30. They will hold their pre-match media conference at 12h15.
Additional note for NRH media:
- Accredited Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film pre-match day press conferences, but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days except for any safe filming zone that may be provided at venues.
- Videos shot at venues on pre-match days may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.
- The ICC will upload unedited media conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.
- If you intend to film non-matchday press conferences (either by camera or phone) please position yourself in the back row or behind the back row of seating.
- Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted match day accreditation.
- No filming is allowed in the Mixed Zone for any NRH media.
Note for photographers:
- Photographers are expected to wear their bibs at all times and are only permitted in designated areas.
- On pre-match days photographers need to shoot from the areas identified by the Venue Media Operations Manager.
- On match-days, photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting one hour in advance of the toss, when they will be assigned photo positions by the Venue Media Operations Manager
- NRH photographers will not be allowed at press conferences.
Media Centre entry and timings: Entrance for the media is through Gate B on all days. On match days, the media areas will open two hours before the start of play and remain open till 2 ½ hours after close of play.
Media accreditation cards needs to be collected in person and one will need to show the identity document uploaded at the time of applying for accreditation to collect the card. Your accreditation pass will give you access to all matches you have been approved for, so please retain it for the duration of the tournament.
Warm-up matches and training sessions: Media wanting to attend the warm-up fixtures will need to show their photo ID as well as their accreditation confirmation e-mail to gain entry if not in possession of accreditation cards.
Please note that there will be no official interactions during warm-up matches. You may please get in touch with team media managers for any interview requests.

New York
A projection light show featuring the 20 captains will light up the Rockefeller Center Building in New York City, commencing at 20h15 (sunset). The projection show will run multiple times up until midnight. Media are free to capture this event.
Texas
Canada and USA will each make a player available for their pre-match press conferences at Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, ahead of their historic ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 opener at the same venue. Timings will be advised 24 hours prior to the media opportunity.
1 JUNE
New York
ICC Ambassador Yuvraj Singh will appear at the opening of the fan park at the Oculus World Trade Center in New York City. The site will show 18 matches on 10 different dates, including the opening match on 1 June. A short ceremony will take place at the site, with Yuvraj to be made available to media at approximately 19h45.
