Media Information for ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 - Thursday, 13th June

The following is the schedule of media opportunities at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 on Thursday, 13 June and additional information for media.

St. Vincent

Bangladesh and Netherlands play a First Round, Group D match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at 10h30 local time on Thursday, 13 June at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent. Teams will address post-match media conferences starting around 10 minutes after the end of the match, with the losing team usually going in first. A mixed zone will also be in operation following the post-match press conferences.

South Africa and Nepal play a First Round, Group D match at 19h30 local time on Friday, 14 June at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent.

On their pre-match day on Thursday, 13 June:

  • South Africa will hold a nets session at the Sion Hill Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent from 09h00 to 12h00 local time and a fielding session from 18h00 to 19h30 at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent. They will address their pre-match press conference at 17h45 local time.
  • Nepal will hold a training session at the Arnos Vale Ground, Kingstown, St. Vincent from 18h00 to 21h00. They will address their pre-match press conference at 18h00 local time.

Antigua

England and Oman play a First Round, Group B match at 15h00 local time on Thursday, 13 June at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua. Teams will address post-match media conferences starting around 10 minutes after the end of the match, with the losing team usually going in first. A mixed zone will also be in operation following the post-match press conferences.

Media parking will be through gate 15, a member of the media team will distribute these on arrival at the parking gate. Contact the venue media manager if further assistance is required.

Trinidad

Afghanistan and Papua New Guinea play a First Round, Group C match at 20h30 local time on Thursday, 13 June at the Brian Lara Academy, Trinidad. Teams will address post-match media conferences starting around 10 minutes after the end of the match, with the losing team usually going in first. A mixed zone will also be in operation following the post-match press conferences.

New Zealand and Uganda play a first round, Group C match at the Brian Lara Academy on Friday, 14 June at 20h30 local time.

  • New Zealand will address their pre-match press conference after their post-match press conference on Wednesday, which will be embargoed for 15h00 on Thursday.
  • Uganda will address their pre-match press conference at the Brian Lara Academy on Thursday at 16h00 local time.

Florida

Ireland and USA play a First Round, Group A match at 10h30 local time on Friday, 14 June at the Broward County Stadium, Florida.

Due to inclement weather in the Fort Lauderdale area, pre-match training and press conference plans remain TBC.

Note for NRH media:

Accredited Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film pre-match day press conferences, but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days except for any safe filming zone that may be provided at venues.

Videos shot at venues on pre-match days may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

The ICC will upload unedited media conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

If you intend to film non-matchday press conferences (either by camera or phone) please position yourself in the back row or behind the back row of seating.

Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted match day accreditation.

No filming is allowed in the Mixed Zone for any NRH media.

Note for photographers:

  • Photographers are expected to wear their bibs at all times and are only permitted in designated areas.
  • On pre-match days photographers need to shoot from the areas identified by the Venue Media Operations Manager.
  • On match-days, photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting one hour in advance of the toss, when they will be assigned photo positions by the Venue Media Operations Manager
  • NRH photographers will not be allowed at press conferences.

Media Centre entry and timings: On match days, the media areas will open two hours before the start of play and remain open till 2 ½ hours after close of play.

Media accreditation cards need to be collected in person and one will need to show the identity document uploaded at the time of applying for accreditation to collect the card. Your accreditation pass will give you access to all matches you have been approved for, so please retain it for the duration of the tournament.

Media Hub: The Media Hub powered by C&W Business in Barbados is a virtual media centre where accredited media can enjoy an immersive experience of what is available at the various venues when they are not at the nine host venues. Facilities include high-speed internet, giant screens to watch the matches and technical support to allow participation in the end-of-match press conferences.
