The following is the schedule of media opportunities at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 on Thursday, 6 June and additional information for media.
Dallas
USA and Pakistan play a First Round, Group A match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at 11h30 local time on Thursday, 6 June at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Dallas. Teams will address post-match media conferences starting around 10 minutes after the end of the match. A mixed zone will also be in operation following the post-match press conferences.
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh play a First Round, Group C match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at 19h30 local time on Friday, 7 June at the Grand Prairie Cricket Stadium, Dallas.
On their pre-match day on Thursday, 6 June:
- Bangladesh will hold a training session at the Grand Prairie from 09h00 to 12h00. They will hold their pre-match press conference at 12h00 local time.
- Sri Lanka will hold a training session at the Grand Prairie from 12h30 to 15h30. They will hold their pre-match press conference at 12h15 local time.
Barbados
Namibia and Scotland play a First Round, Group B match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at 15h00 local time on Thursday, 6 June at the Kensington Oval, Barbados. Teams will address post-match media conferences starting around 10 minutes after the end of the match, with the losing team usually going first. A mixed zone will also be in operation following the post-match press conferences.
New York
Canada and Ireland play a First Round, Group A match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at 10h30 local time on Friday, 7 June at the Nassau County International Stadium, New York.
- Both teams held their pre-match press conferences at the conclusion of the Ireland vs India post-match press conferences today (5 June) at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium. Video and transcripts of these press conferences will be available on the ICC OMZ from 07h00 local time (EDT, GMT-4).
- Ireland have cancelled their practice session on 6 June at Cantiague Park.
- Canada will hold their 6 June training session at Cantiague Park from 09h00 to 12h00, but will cancel if it rains.
Guyana
New Zealand and Afghanistan play a First Round, Group C match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 at 19h30 local time on Friday, 7 June at the Guyana National Stadium, Guyana.
On their pre-match day on Thursday, 6 June:
- Afghanistan will hold a training session at the Guyana National Stadium from 12h00 to 14h30 local time. They will hold their pre-match press conference at 14h30 local time.
- New Zealand will hold a training session at the Guyana National Stadium from 18h00 to 20h30 local time at the Guyana National Stadium. Captain Kane Williamson will be available for the pre-match press conference at 17h45 local time.

Note for NRH media:
Accredited Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film pre-match day press conferences, but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days except for any safe filming zone that may be provided at venues.
Videos shot at venues on pre-match days may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.
The ICC will upload unedited media conference clips onto the Online Media Zone. The footage, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.
If you intend to film non-matchday press conferences (either by camera or phone) please position yourself in the back row or behind the back row of seating.
Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted match day accreditation.
No filming is allowed in the Mixed Zone for any NRH media.
Note for photographers:
- Photographers are expected to wear their bibs at all times and are only permitted in designated areas.
- On pre-match days photographers need to shoot from the areas identified by the Venue Media Operations Manager.
- On match-days, photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting one hour in advance of the toss, when they will be assigned photo positions by the Venue Media Operations Manager
- NRH photographers will not be allowed at press conferences.
Media Centre entry and timings: On match days, the media areas will open two hours before the start of play and remain open till 2 ½ hours after close of play.
Media accreditation cards need to be collected in person and one will need to show the identity document uploaded at the time of applying for accreditation to collect the card. Your accreditation pass will give you access to all matches you have been approved for, so please retain it for the duration of the tournament.
