MEDIA INFORMATION FOR ICC MEN’S T20 WORLD CUP 2026
Media advisory
The following is the schedule of media opportunities at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on Sunday, 8 March:
Ahmedabad
India play New Zealand in the Final at the Narendra Modi Stadium from 19h00 local time. Both teams will hold post-match media interactions starting around 45 minutes after the end of the match with the losing team generally coming first, followed by the winning team. The press conferences by both teams will be followed by brief stand-up interviews in the Mixed Zone.
Note for NRH media:
The media areas will open at 15h30 Indian Standard Time.
No filming will be allowed inside the venue except for any safe filming zones that may be provided by the ICC media team.
The ICC will upload unedited media conference videos onto the Online Media Zone, the footage of which may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.
Note for NRH photographers:
- Photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting two hours in advance of the toss when they will be assigned photo positions
- Photographers are expected to always wear their bibs and need to follow any directions on their movements including at the post-match presentation
- They will only be permitted in designated areas and are not allowed at press conferences or in the mixed zones
