The following is the schedule of media opportunities at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on Wednesday, 18 February:

New Delhi

South Africa play the UAE in a Group D match at the Arun Jaitley Stadium from 11h00 local time. Both teams will hold post-match media interactions starting around 15 minutes after the end of the match with the losing team generally coming in first, followed by the winning team.

Colombo

Pakistan play Namibia in a Group A match at the Singhalese Sports Club from 15h00 local time. Both teams will hold post-match media interactions starting around 15 minutes after the end of the match with the losing team generally coming in first, followed by the winning team.

Ahmedabad

India play the Netherlands in a Group A match at the Narendra Modi Stadium from 19h00 local time. Both teams will hold post-match media interactions starting around 15 minutes after the end of the match with the losing team generally coming in first, followed by the winning team.

Pre-match day schedule:

Kolkata

The West Indies play Italy in a Group C match at the Eden Gardens at 11h00 local time on Thursday.

On Wednesday:

Italy will have a training session at the Eden Gardens from 10h00 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 12h30.

The West Indies will have a training session at the same venue from 14h00 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 13h45.

Colombo

Sri Lanka play Zimbabwe in a Group B match at the R Premadasa Stadium (RPICS) at 15h00 local time on Thursday.

On Wednesday:

Sri Lanka will have a training session at the RPICS from 14h00 and hold a media interaction at the RPICS Media Center starting around 14h00.

Zimbabwe will not train. They will hold a media interaction at the Singhalese Sports Club starting around 17h30.

Chennai

Afghanistan play Canada in a Group D match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium at 19h00 local time on Thursday.

On Wednesday:

Afghanistan will have a training session at the MA Chidambaram Stadium from 18h00 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 17h30.

Canada will not train. They held their pre-match media interaction after their match against New Zealand, the embargoed video and transcript of which will be available on the Online Media Zone at 12h00 local time.

Note for NRH media:

On match days, press boxes open two hours before each game at the respective venue.

Accredited Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film pre-match day press conferences, but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days except for any safe filming zone that may be provided at venues.

Videos shot at venues on pre-match days may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

The ICC will upload unedited media conference clips onto the Online Media Zone.

If you intend to film non-matchday press conferences (either by camera or phone) please position yourself in the back row or behind the back row of seating.

Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted match day accreditation.

Note for photographers:

  • Photographers are expected to always wear their bibs and are only permitted in designated areas.
  • On pre-match days photographers need to shoot from the areas identified by the Venue Media Operations Manager.
  • On match-days, photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting one hour in advance of the toss, when they will be assigned photo positions
  • NRH photographers will not be allowed at press conferences.
  • NRH TV camerapersons are not allowed on match days.
