Media Information for ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026

The following is the schedule of team movements at the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 on Thursday, 22 January:
Zimbabwe
- Zimbabwe play Pakistan in a Group C match starting at 09h30 local time at the Takashinga Sports Club in Harare.
Namibia
- Ireland play Japan in a Group A match starting at 09h30 local time Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
- West Indies play South Africa in a Group D match starting at 09h30 local time High Performance Oval in Windhoek.
All media centres will be open one hour before the start of play and remain open for 90 minutes after the end of the game.
Following all matches, teams may provide a player to speak to press pitch side after consultation with team management.
Over and above that, rights-free interviews featuring representatives of both teams will be made available for download at the ICC Online Media Zone an hour and a half after the end of each match.
Friday 23 January
Zimbabwe
- Bangladesh play the USA in a Group B match at Takashinga Sports Club in Harare.
On their pre-match day on Thursday, 22 January:
- Bangladesh will hold a training session at Harare Sports Club from 13h30 local time.
- The USA will hold a training session at Old Hararians from 13h30 local time.
Namibia
- Sri Lana play Australia in a Group A match at Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek on Friday, 23 January.
On their pre-match day on Thursday, 22 January:

Sri Lanka will hold a training session at the Wanderers Cricket Ground from 12h00 local time.

Australia will hold a training session at the Wanderers Cricket Ground from 15h00 local time.

The ICC Online Media Zone will feature a host of rights-free content for media. Imagery, daily reports and post-match media interactions will be made available on the platform soon after the end of the game. Content obtained from the OMZ can be used on news channels and websites only (they cannot be posted natively on social media).

No filming is allowed inside tournament venues on match days. Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted access to matchdays as per the Accreditation Terms and Conditions for the event.

If any footage is captured of team training sessions, it must only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and is not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

Photographers are expected to wear their bibs at all times and will only be permitted to shoot matchdays from designated areas as informed by the relevant Media Manager.
