Philippines' Shahzad Charged with Code of Conduct Breach

Philippines’ player Muzammil Shahzad has been charged for breaching the ICC Code of Conduct during the Philippines’ match against Vanuatu at Canterbury Park on Monday February 20, 2017.
Shahzad was charged with breaching article 2.1.5 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Player and Player Support Personnel, “showing dissent at an umpire’s decision during an international match”, a level 1 offence.
The proposed sanction was a reprimand and one demerit point.
Shahzad accepted the charge and sanction from Tournament Referee Bob Stratford.
