Media release

The following is the schedule of media opportunities at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 on Saturday, 14 February:

Colombo

Ireland play Oman in a Group B match at the Singhalese Sports Club from 11h00 local time. Both teams will hold post-match media interactions starting around 15 minutes after the end of the match with the losing team generally coming in first, followed by the winning team.

Kolkata

England play Scotland in a Group C match at the Eden Gardens from 15h00 local time. Both teams will hold post-match media interactions starting around 15 minutes after the end of the match with the losing team generally coming in first, followed by the winning team.

Ahmedabad

New Zealand play South Africa in a Group D match at the Narendra Modi Stadium from 19h00 local. Both teams will hold post-match media interactions starting around 15 minutes after the end of the match with the losing team generally coming in first, followed by the winning team.

Pre-match day schedule:

Mumbai

West Indies play Nepal in a Group C match at the Wankhede Stadium at 11h00 local time on Sunday.

On Saturday:

Nepal will have a training session at the Wankhede Stadium from 10h00 to 13h00 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 13h00.

West Indies will have a training session at the Wankhede Stadium from 14h00 to 17h00 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 13h30.

Chennai

The USA play Namibia in a Group A match at the MA Chidambaram Stadium at 15h00 local time on Sunday.

On Saturday:

The USA will not train. They held their pre-match media interaction after their match against the Netherlands, the embargoed video and transcript of which will be available on the Online Media Zone at 12h00 local time.

Namibia will have a training session at the MA Chidambaram Stadium from 16h30 to 19h30 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 16h15.

Colombo

India play Pakistan in a Group A match at the R. Premadasa Stadium (RPICS) at 19h00 local time on Sunday.

On Saturday:

Pakistan will have a training session at the RPICS from 14h00 to 17h00 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 13h45.

India will have a training session at the RPICS from 18h00 to 21h00 local time and hold a media interaction at the Press Conference Room starting around 17h30.

The RPICS press box will open from 13h00 on Saturday.

Note for NRH media:

On match days, press boxes open two hours before each game at the respective venue.

Accredited Non-Rights Holders are allowed to film pre-match day press conferences, but no filming is allowed inside the venues on match days except for any safe filming zone that may be provided at venues.

Videos shot at venues on pre-match days may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

The ICC will upload unedited media conference clips onto the Online Media Zone.

A Daily Event stats pack will be available in the Resource section of the Online Media Zone.

The footage, whether provided by the ICC or shot by the media themselves, may only be used on news channels and websites for editorial purposes and are not to be natively posted on any social media channels including YouTube.

If you intend to film non-matchday press conferences (either by camera or phone) please position yourself in the back row or behind the back row of seating.

Non-Rights Holder camerapersons will not be granted match day accreditation.

Note for photographers:

  • Photographers are expected to always wear their bibs and are only permitted in designated areas.
  • On pre-match days photographers need to shoot from the areas identified by the Venue Media Operations Manager.
  • On match-days, photographers need to arrive for a pre-match meeting one hour in advance of the toss, when they will be assigned photo positions
  • NRH photographers will not be allowed at press conferences.
  • NRH TV camerapersons are not allowed on match days.
