The International Cricket Council (ICC) today announced the details of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 travel packages and ticket prices.

A number of different travel packages for all the matches in Australia and New Zealand are now available, and fans are encouraged to regularly visit the ICC Travel website to check the latest deals and offers.

Australia and New Zealand will jointly host the event, which runs from 14 February to 29 March 2015. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will feature 49 matches in 44 days across 14 host cities.  The opening match of the tournament will be played in Christchurch and the final will be played in the Melbourne.

The individual tickets will go on sale from 14 February 2014 – exactly a year before the first ball is bowled in ICC’s flagship event - but fans can register their interest for tickets that will be available for pre-sale at www.cricketworldcup.com.

Ticket prices for the event are the same whether purchased in the Australian or New Zealand Dollar and therefore, children’s tickets for most of the matches in the tournament just $5 (USD $4.68) while prices for adults during the 42-match pool stage start from just $20 (USD $18.74). This means a family of four can attend this once in a generation event from just $50 (USD 46.84).
