India have called up Mayank Agarwal for the upcoming three-match ODI series against West Indies after a number of positive Covid-19 results.

The squad were asked to undertake testing at home and only travel to Ahmedabad on Monday after receiving negative results. And opening batter Shikhar Dhawan, standby bowler Navdeep Saini, and coaches T. Dilip and B. Lokesh all returned positive results from Monday’s initial round of testing.

Ruturaj Gaikwad tested negative on Monday, but returned a positive result to a test conducted on Tuesday, while batter Shreyas Iyer and massage therapist Rajeev Kumar have subsequently returned positive tests in Wednesday’s third round of testing.
