Opening the innings, Dottin punished the Australia bowlers at Taunton even as her teammates struggled to keep up. She hammered nine fours and a six in her score of 53 in their ICC Women's World T20 2009 match.

Her innings closed off at a strike-rate of 212, the highest in that edition of the tournament for any double-digit score.

Despite her efforts, Australia's bowlers kept Windies down to just 135/8, a score they chased down in 17.2 overs with eight wickets to spare.
