In the final of the 2009 edition, New Zealand Women were bowled out for a paltry total of 85 after being put in to bat by England.
In reply, England lost captain Charlotte Edwards early for nine, but Taylor and Sarah Taylor (23) ensured that the run chase was a smooth one.
England beat New Zealand by six wickets to win their first ICC World T20 title.
