Advisory on Media Accreditation Cards (not for publication)

The ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 trophy at The Louvre Abu Dhabi ahead of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 that begins on Sunday 17 October in UAE and Oman.

The distribution of the media accreditation cards for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 will commence as per the schedule given below in this advisory.

Accredited media will be handed over their cards on providing their proof of identity submitted at the time of applying for accreditation. Cards will only be handed over in person and may not be collected on behalf of someone else.

As in previous tournaments, the ICC will follow its priority order in allotting match-day seats. This is done in tandem by the ICC media and accreditation teams and keeping in mind the teams playing. We will follow the general principals outlined in the media advisory and FAQs document shared at the start of the accreditation process.

Reporters will be allotted seats and a limited number of photographers will be allotted photo positions keeping in mind the bio-security protocols.

Updates through the tournament will be sent out either individually or to the tournament media e-mail list maintained by us. Please remember to read our advisories as there may be changes in protocols, bio-security measures or the way the media interactions are conducted, owing to any change in government guidelines or on advice from our own colleagues.

An earlier advisory on media protocols is available here. Please read this carefully as it lists out what all the media are permitted to do at venues.
