All-round performance helps Kenya to victory

David Obuya smashed an unbeaten half-century while Nelson Odhiambo picked up a four-wicket haul to star in Kenya's 14-wicket victory over Uganda in the fourth match of the Tri-nation T20 series played at Gymkhana Club Ground, Nairobi on Tuesday.
Obuya smashed an unbeaten 79 in 45 balls and was well-supported by Alex Obanda (43) and skipper Maurice Ouma (39) to make light work of the bowlers and push the total to 186-3 in 20 overs.
In the second innings, Roger Mukasa helped Uganda get off to a good start with his 66 in 41 balls but failed to find a solid partnership and was dismissed by Odhiambo in the 14th over with the score at 116-6. Odhiambo finished with figures of 4-25 as Uganda was restricted to 172-9.
The third team in the tournament, Scotland, will play Uganda on Wednesday and hosts Kenya on Thursday at the same venue.
