An Australian bowler is the biggest winner in the latest ICC Women's Rankings update, reclaiming top spot after India's 15-run win in the last of five T20Is against Sri Lanka.

Annabel Sutherland has moved back to the No.1 spot in the T20I Bowling Rankings as a result of Deepti Sharma's one-spot drop, holding with the same rating (736) she had when taking the top spot originally in August 2025.

Australia's Annabel Sutherland took three wickets in four balls, including the valuable scalp of Sophie Devine, in a match-winning over against New Zealand at the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025.

Three batters passed fifty in the Thiruvananthapuram contest on December 30, with Harmanpreet Kaur making a move for the top 10 on the batting rankings with a two-spot move to 13th (634) thanks to a knock of 68 (43).

The innings helped India reach 175/7, a score ultimately too big for the tourists to chase down in spite of two strong performers.

Opener Hasini Perera (65 from 42 balls) had fought well to put Sri Lanka in a strong position even with the early loss of Chamari Athapaththu (2), joined by Imesh Dulani, who struck eight fours in an even 50 from 39 balls.

Perera moved 31 spots to 40th and a rating of 490, while Dulani, just six games into her international T20 career, moved 77 spots and into the top 100 for the first time.

Hasini Perera laid the foundation for Sri Lanka's epic win over Bangladesh at the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025.

Deepti's 1/28 from four overs in the contest was enough to ensure she remained in third on the All-Rounder Rankings (382).

Arundhati Reddy, who made a rapid 27 not out in just 11 balls and claimed a wicket, moved 21 spots to 44th in the same category.
