Mike Hussey to bring his expertise to Australia as a consultant coach.
Former Australia batter Mike Hussey will join Andrew McDonald's coaching group as a consultant coach for the Aussies across key ICC tournaments and series over the next few years.
Hussey has built an impressive coaching resume in recent times, with the Australia legend having played a part in England's success at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup alongside domestic stints in the IPL and The Hundred around the world.

Now the former left-hander will bring his coaching expertise to the Australian group, with Hussey set to join McDonald and the other coaches ahead of next year's Ashes, ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2027, the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles and the next cycle of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
Hussey's stint with the Aussies will commence with this month's white-ball ODI and T20I series against England at home and the 51-year-old is looking forward to getting started.
“I am extremely excited about being a part of the team in a more formal and meaningful role in the coming years," Hussey said.
“This team has achieved so much in recent times, to which I hope I can add value to the coaching and playing groups ahead of what will be an exciting and challenging period.”

Hussey played more than 300 matches for Australia across all formats, scoring 19 Test centuries during an eight-year international career before he retired at the start of 2013.
His advisor role will include specific expertise and focus across a range of areas in the shortest format including campaign strategies, opposition insights, player scouting and performance and McDonald is excited about his inclusion to the group.
“Mike has been a highly valued part of our staff in the past and brings a considerable skill set which is complementary to the coaches and players," McDonald said.
“Not only is his expertise as a player and coach across multiple formats, competitions, countries invaluable, so are his qualities as a person."
