Australia makes bright start to red-hot summer: How to watch on ICC.tv
Australia have made their move in the Super League standings with victories in the opening two ODIs against New Zealand after claiming a 2-1 series win over Zimbabwe.
A clean sweep for Australia over New Zealand will push the hosts to second spot in the standings as attention is set to turn to their home series against West Indies, England and South Africa - with every ball to be shown live on ICC.tv (in select regions).
The third and final ODI between Australia and New Zealand will be played on 11 September starting at 2:20pm local time (AEST), and all eyes will be on Aaron Finch as he tries to turn around a form slump.
Australia’s skipper Finch has made only 26 runs in five innings against New Zealand and Zimbabwe, and will be desperate for runs to start flowing with several more home series to come.
New Zealand pace bowlers Trent Boult and Matt Henry have rattled Australia’s top-order in both ODIs, with Boult leading the way with back-to-back four-fors.
The ODI series is part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League which is a key step to qualifying for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 to be staged in India.

- Australia coach Andrew McDonald
"It’s great to welcome back Matt [Henry]. He’s been one of our front line one-day bowlers for the past few years and his ICC ODI bowling ranking of six is testament to that."
