Australia's white-ball stars have made big gains on the latest update to the ICC Women's ODI Player Rankings.

The eye-catching gains come courtesy of their 2-0 lead in the three-match ODI series at home against Bangladesh as part of the ongoing ICC Women's Championship and a host of players have made valuable contributions across those two fixtures.

Star all-rounder Annabel Sutherland dominated the opening match of the series at Allan Border Field with a four-wicket haul and an unbeaten innings of 25* and that helped the 25-year-make progress up both the batting and bowling ranking charts.

Sutherland rises three places to improve to 17th on the list for ODI batters, while she also moves up one spot to jump to fourth on the updated rankings for ODI bowlers.

Veteran seamer Megan Schutt also makes gains on the list for ODI bowlers as the right-armer improves two rungs to fifth on the back of her four-wicket haul in the second match of the series, while there is progress for teammates Ellyse Perry (up two places to 10th) and Georgia Voll (up eight slots to 28th) on the updated ODI batter rankings.

There is some joy for Bangladesh despite the 2-0 series deficit to Australia, with skipper Nigar Sultana Joty (up 11 rungs to equal 24th) and Sobhana Mostary (up 11 places to equal 35th) making gains on the list for ODI batters following some decent efforts across the first two matches of that series in Brisbane.

In the shortest format, there are some changes to the updated T20I rankings following the completion of the West Indies' series in Zimbabwe, with veteran all-rounder Stafanie Taylor perhaps the biggest eye-catcher following her Player of the Match performance in the series finale in Harare.

Taylor scored a quickfire innings of 64 from just 39 deliveries to help ensure the West Indies clinched a series sweep, and that helped the 35-year-old move up seven spots to equal 40th on the list for T20I batters and jump 29 slots to 39th on the rankings for T20I all-rounders.

While Zimbabwe fell to a 3-0 series defeat, they did receive some good performances from a handful of players, with Kelis Ndhlovu up 5 to 67 on the list for T20I batters and Beloved Biza up 10 spots to equal 45, making ground on the updated rankings for T20I all-rounders.
