Bangladesh name experienced unit for Asia Cup and Asian Games
Regular captain Nigar Sultana Joty will continue to lead Bangladesh, while Nahida Akter will be her deputy.
Bangladesh have announced the squad which will take part in the ACC Women’s Asia Cup 2026 in Dubai, UAE and the 20th Asian Games in Japan.
Nigar Sultana Joty, who recently oversaw their ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 campaign, which saw the team secure wins over Pakistan and Netherlands, will captain the side once more. Spinner Nahida Akter will be her deputy.
