Bangladesh off-spinner Aliss Al Islam has been reported for a suspect bowling action after the ODI tri-series match against Afghanistan in Sharjah on Wednesday, 21 October.

Aliss made his ODI debut for Bangladesh in their recent outing, conceding 47 runs off the 8.3 overs he bowled.

The 29-year-old had also received his maiden T20I cap earlier this month, during Bangladesh's Asian Games contest against Sri Lanka.

After their loss against Afghanistan, the match officials' report had cited concerns about the legality of Aliss' bowling action.

The off-spinner will undergo an Independent Assessment of his bowling action at an ICC Accredited Testing Centre in accordance with the ICC Illegal Bowling Action Regulations.

Bangladesh are coming on the back of losing both of their games in the tri-series to Zimbabwe and Afghanistan, who will now play in the final on October 23.
