Bangladesh U19 win series opener
Bangladesh U19 won the opening match of its series against Zimbabwe U19 by six wickets on Friday.
Batting first, Zimbabwe U19 made 204-9 off 49.4 overs, with wicket-keeper Dean Mazhawidza top scoring with 77. Kamrun Islam was the pick of the attack taking 3-37, although Noor Hossain also impressed with 2-29 off nine overs.
An opening partnership of 76 from Anamul Haque (52) and Saikat Ali (25) gave Zimbabwe U19 a perfect platform to build on.
Monimul Haque then sealed the win with 25 balls to spare after scoring 65 not out.
