Bangladesh unveil Men’s squad for Asian Games 2026
Having clinched a bronze medal at the previous edition, Bangladesh will look to take a step further in Japan.
Litton Das will lead Bangladesh as they compete against Asia’s finest cricketing sides at the Asian Games 2026.
Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) named the 15-member squad for the men’s tournament starting September 17.
Bangladesh squad: Litton Das (c), Tanzid Hasan, Parvez Hossain Emon, Mohammed Saif Hasan, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Tawhid Hridoy, Musaddek Hossain Saikat, Yasir Ali Chowdhury, Rishad Hossain, Shak Mahedi Hasan, Nasum Ahmed, Shaif Uddin, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Hasan Mahmud.

The squad sees the return of major names from the one that played against Zimbabwe in July including the likes of captain Litton Das and Najmul Hossain Shanto.
The team had secured a podium finish, winning the bronze medal at the previous edition of the Asian Games, only behind Sri Lanka and India, who won the silver and gold medal respectively.
Bangladesh, along with India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, had secured automatic qualification for the tournament alongside the hosts Japan.
Nepal, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China and Oman had booked their slot following the qualifier tournament.
