Bermuda announces Intercontinental Shield squad against UAE
Bermuda Cricket Board has announced its squad for the ICC Intercontinental Shield clash against the United Arab Emirates from 5-8 July at the National Sports Centre, North Field.
David Hemp will lead the 17-man squad with Stephen Outerbridge as his deputy. Commenting on the squad, national coach David Moore said on BCB website: "The squad that has been selected is larger than usual, but this is to accommodate for the competition amongst the fast bowlers and the fact that some of the bowlers are returning from injury. I am expecting continued improvement from the group and I am looking for a very good performance from all players that make the final team."
Bermuda is currently placed at the bottom of the ICC Intercontinental Shield points table with no points from two losses against Uganda by seven wickets and Namibia by an innings and 185 runs respectively.
