Big Hitting the Highlight on Day 3 in Fiji

33269 Day 3

Day 3 of the LICI Cricket Fiji Easter Tournament literally started with a bang, as boundary after boundary brought the large crowd to their feet.

Cricket Fiji Chairman Col Kacisolomone said it was an impressive morning of cricket with both batsman and fielders in top form.

"The Moce versus Oneata game this morning was full of big hits, with 5 six's sailing over the boundary thanks to the hard-hitters in the Moce team," said Kacisolomone. "As predicted Suva Warriors continue to flex their muscle taking out Kabara in the morning's play."

"The fielding by Suva was tight, with Kabara unable to penetrate their defense."

Today's Third round matches are back to 20 overs, as opposed to the 12 overs played earlier in the week.
