Boucher undergoes surgery

South Africa wicketkeeper Mark Boucher underwent eye surgery at a Cape Town Clinic on Thursday morning.

His medical team have issued the following report:

1. The procedure went well and took about 3 hours.

2. There were no complications, no bleeding and nothing else unexpected.

3. The important parts of the retina were intact, confirming previous findings

4. The blood which accumulated due to the trauma was removed.

5. The outcome looks very positive and the surgeon is pleased with the procedure.
