Namibia was dealt early blows in its chase, and it never recovered. It was reduced to 9 for 2 after SJ Loftie-Eaton and Niko Davin, the openers, were shot out within four overs. Lohan Louwrens typically fought hard and hung around to score a 39-ball 24, adding 22 with Zane Green, the captain, for the third wicket and 39 with Chrischen Oliver for the sixth.

However, he was one of Crane’s three wickets, and fell after a failed attempt to reverse sweep. Namibia didn’t last long after his dismissal, and was dismissed in 25.2 overs.
