CA provides update on Ellyse Perry and Sarah Coyte injuries
Cricket Australia (CA) advises that Ellyse Perry and Sarah Coyte have been ruled out of the Australia's ICC Women's World Cup Super Six match against the West Indies today (Wednesday, 13 February) with injuries.
CA Physiotherapist Claire Stokes said: "Ellyse Perry has aggravated a pre-existing ankle impingent injury and will not take part in the match against the West Indies.
"We will continue to monitor her progress and we expect her to be fit for selection for the ICC Women's World Cup final on Sunday.
"Sarah Coyte has aggravated a pre-existing lower back injury and will not take part in the match against the West Indies.
"She will also be monitored and is expected to be fit for Sunday's final."
