Canada claimed the ICC Americas Division One title on Saturday after maintaining its 100 per cent title with a 61-run win over Suriname.

Batting first, Canada registered 138-4 off 20 overs, before Suriname struggled to 77-7 off 20 overs in reply.

USA claimed second place at the event with a seven-wicket victory over Bermuda, who finished third at the event.

In the other match of the day, the Cayman Islands defeated Argentina by four wickets with two balls remaining. This left Argentina bottom of the table, with five defeats in its five matches.

Bermuda, Canada and USA will all progress to the global ICC World Twenty20 2012 qualifier next year.
