Citylets Grange announced as venue for Scotland v England in 2012

The Stockbridge ground has been the main home of the national side for the last fifteen years and hosted its first ODI during the world cup in 1999, when Scotland played Bangladesh. Since then it has hosted a further nine One Day International?s, most recently against Sri Lanka last year.
It will be the third occasion that England has travelled north to Edinburgh, following previous matches at the ground in 2008 and 2010.
Roddy Smith, Cricket Scotland Chief Executive commented, ?We are delighted that we can host this game, which will be the highlight of the 2012 season, at the Citylets Grange. The playing facility is excellent, as was shown when the Scotland team chased down 320 to beat Ireland last year. Our plans for the match are already well under way.?
Grange Club Secretary, Gordon Tolland, was also delighted by the announcement. ?It?s always a privilege for the Grange to host a match like this. Scotland is making great progress, and watching the team in action against one of the best cricket sides in the world promises to be a fantastic day.?
Cricket Scotland is set to announce ticketing arrangements for the match within the next couple of weeks.
