Clinical Netherlands overcomes Scotland challenge

Borren was pleased with the manner in which his team bounced back after a loss in the first game. "It’s good (to win) because we lost our first game, so it’s nice to come back and beat the home team," he said. "Pretty tough, having lost our first game, to come up against Scotland, who, obviously, smashed UAE in their first game, so it’s a very confident side and this is a fantastic win for us. So if we can, hopefully, tomorrow, get another one, then we would have had a great weekend."
The Netherlands will next take on the United Arab Emirates at Raeburn Place in Edinburgh on Sunday, while Scotland will face Afghanistan on the same day at the same venue.
Looking forward to the next match, Evans said, "Obviously, it was a cracking game of cricket in the World Cup at the beginning of the year, one which could have gone either way. We've played each other a lot over the last 12-18 months, we know them well and we’re very confident of beating them in our own backyard."
