Cooper replaces Dottin for West Indies women's tours of Ireland and England
Britney Cooper has been called up as the replacement for Dottin, who is currently No 1 in the MRF Tyres ICC Women's T20 All-Rounder rankings.
West Indies are scheduled to play three T20 internationals against Ireland later this month before taking England over three one-day-internationals and a further three T20 games. And Dottin's absence deprives the tourists of a player who tops 2,000 runs and 50 wickets in both formats. Dottin was also the Player of the series in the West Indies Women’s tour to Pakistan in February, where she scored 158 runs and took 3 wickets.

Interim Chairman of Selectors Robert Haynes said: "Obviously it’s very unfortunate with Deandra having to do surgery. She is certainly a key player for us and we wish her a speedy recovery to come back and win matches for the West Indies.
"Britney has previous experience at the international level and we believe she will make a positive contribution," he added.
Cooper made her international debut back in 2009 and was part of the squad that reached the semi-finals of the ICC Women's World T20 in November.
West Indies, currently seventh in the ICC Women’s Championships points table with 11 points, play the first match of their tour on 26 May.
Squad: Stafanie Taylor (c), Hayley Matthews (vc), Britney Cooper, Afy Fletcher, Karishma Ramharack, Chedean Nation, Chinelle Henry, Kycia Knight, Kyshona Knight, Shakera Selman, Shamilia Connell, Shemaine Campbell, Natasha McLean, Stacy Ann King
