Cricket a Winner on Children's Day

The office of Vanuatu Cricket Association (VCA) is today organising a cricket fun day for children on "Children?s Day."

The cricket carnival will see the Digicel Vanuatu national players help out in running different cricket fun games that kids shall be involved in.

"This is an important day for children, the VCA is happy with the continuous generous support from Digicel Vanuatu as the major sponsor of the VCA's Youth Cricket" said Mark Stafford, VCA President.

Digicel Vanuatu CEO John Clancy said "We are delighted to support Vanuatu Cricket Association's Children's Day Carnival - in addition to our wider sponshorship of the Vanuatu Cricket Association. We hope it will be a fun-filled and memorable Children's Day for kids, parents and players alike."

The Cricket Carnival will start at 9am with cricket games followed by drinks and snacks for all.

Children and parents are invited to come to Independence Park on Monday at 8.00am.
