Cricket Kenya announces new national coach
Cricket Kenya has announced the appointment of Eldine Baptiste as the new cricket coach for the national squad. He will be in charge of leading the preparation and training of the Kenya national team up to June 2011.
Eldine brings with him a wealth of cricketing experience having played for the West Indies in a total of ten Test matches and 43 ODIs as a batting all rounder.
The level 4 accredited coach has held several coaching positions including being the Head Coach in the Stanford T20 Series 2008 for the West Indies side which went on to win the tournament.
Eldine joins Cricket Kenya when the team is currently engaged in a busy international calendar with a tour to Zimbabwe later this month and another to South Africa in November 2009.
