Dambulla triumph helps Pakistan stars make gains on rankings
Nashra Sundhu makes more ground inside the top 10 for T20I bowlers as Pakistan and Sri Lanka players are rewarded on the latest rankings.
Pakistan's consolation victory over Sri Lanka in their third and final game of their recent T20I series has benefitted a host of their stars on the updated ICC Women's T20I Player Rankings.
Spinner Nashra Sundhu was the big winner for Pakistan, with the left-armer rising one place to eighth inside the latest rankings for T20I bowlers following her spell of 1/17 in that Dambulla contest.
Sundhu was one of Pakistan's best performers with the ball across the series, with the 28-year-old collecting three wickets in total at an excellent economy rate of just 6.72.
Teammate Tuba Hassan (up three slots to 48th) also made ground on the updated list for T20I bowlers, while Sri Lanka skipper Chamari Athapaththu was the biggest winner for the series victors as she gains five places to move to 36th.

There was further joy for Sri Lanka on the updated rankings for T20I batters, with right-hander Imesha Dulani improving one place to 22nd overall following her Player of the Series heroics against Pakistan that saw her score 123 runs at an average of 61.50.
That total was only bettered by Pakistan's Shawaal Zulfiqar, with the 21-year-old improving three rungs to move to 49th after she contributed 132 runs across the three matches.
And it was the leading wicket-taker of the series in Kavisha Dilhari that was the eye-catcher on the latest rankings for T20I all-rounders, with the 25-year-old gaining one place to move to 13on this list following her two-wicket haul in the third game of the series against Pakistan.
