On this week's ICC Cricket World radio show New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori talks about the challenges he faces as captain of the Black Caps, both leading the side and also being part of the selection committee, along with the fact they are now without a head coach.

The all-rounder said: "I think it's an enjoyable challenge. I think the fact that you can compete and succeed in all three forms of the game then I think you're held in a higher level of regard."

On 50-over cricket Vettori said: "I'm comfortable with it. I'd take a PowerPlay away if it was up to me but I'm a bowler so it's a little bit different."

The show can be used in whole or part by radio stations that want cricket content, while the public can also download it straight from the ICC website at http://www.icc-cricket.com/media_interactive_zone/podcast.php.

This week's show also includes an interview with Rudi Koertzen from the Emirates Elite Panel of ICC Umpires, who reflects on the wonderful career of the former umpire David Shepherd who passed away last week.

Koertzen said: "When we walked out onto the field in the morning Shepherd would always say ?Good luck son, may your god go with you,' and that's something that stood out, the way he treated us, everybody - colleagues, players.

"I mean it's a big, big loss for cricket in the world and all of us will miss him and we hope he rests in peace."

Finally on this week's show, former Australia opening batsman Matthew Hayden takes a lighthearted look back at his time in the Australia dressing room, revealing that current vice-captain Michael Clarke spent the most time in front of the mirror and former fast bowler Glenn McGrath had the worst haircut.

Apart from these interviews, this week's ICC Cricket World also includes the latest news from around the world as well as updates on the Reliance Mobile ICC Player Rankings.

The weekly ICC Cricket World audio show runs for 15 minutes and has been put together by the ICC's global broadcast partner ESPN STAR Sports.
