Daniels and Fourie brought into South Africa's ICC World T20 squad
Ntozakhe has been forced to leave the squad in order to remodel her action, while Smith, heartbreakingly, picked up an injury in a practice session on Saturday. Smith, 19, had only recently made her international debut, but had acquitted herself nicely in her first four games for South Africa and looked likely to play an important role in the team.
The replacements have plenty of international experience between them. Both were members of the South Africa squad at the 2016 ICC World T20 in India that were knocked out in the group stages.

Commenting on the injury of Smith, South Africa coach Hilton Moreeng was understandably disappointed. “It’s very unfortunate," he said. "We feel (Smith's) pain as one of our squad members who worked extremely hard through the winter to find herself in her very first World Cup.
"To end it so prematurely for her it’s very disappointing and we wish her a speedy recovery and we know that she will make a good come back. She’s got a strong head on her shoulders."
Despite the double setback, Moreeng isn't too disheartened as the inclusion of two experienced internationals is a welcome one.
He said: "Going forward now, after a discussion with the rest of the selectors the players coming in for her and Raisibe (Ntozakhe) are Moseline Daniels and Yolani Fourie. They are both suitable replacements, players who have both been to World Cups before so we will have that experience to fall back on and we know that they will be able to add value to the team from game one.”
The tournament kicks off on November 9th, with South Africa making their first appearance in the tournament against Sri Lanka on November 12th at the Darren Sammy Cricket Ground in Saint Lucia.
