Dates for World Cricket League events confirmed
The dates for the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League events in the first half of 2011 have been confirmed.
The Division 3 event will be staged between 22-29 January and features hosts Hong Kong taking on Oman, PNG and Denmark, as well as the top two sides from the Division 4 event in Italy, which takes place later this month.
Six teams will then battle it out in the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 2 in the UAE between 8-15 April. Bermuda, Namibia, Uganda, UAE and the top two sides from the Division 3 event will participate. The top four sides at that tournament achieve automatic qualification to the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier in 2013.
Botswana is the venue for the Pepsi ICC World Cricket League Division 7 between 1-8 May and the hosts will face the top two sides from Division 8 in Kuwait, along with Japan, Nigeria and Norway.
