Cricket Papua New Guinea on Thursday announced the six teams for the "Don't Drink and Drive" Legends Bash. The tournament creates an enormous opportunity for the best young cricket talent in PNG to play with six former players of international cricket during this Twenty20 Bash.

The teams include players from: Kimbe, Lae, Milne Bay, Central and Port Moresby. Also included in the teams are the PNG senior and U-19 players, who are Port Moresby based. The players will team up with the six former cricketers: Andy Bichel, Craig McDermott, Adam Hollioake, Brad Hogg, Greg Campbell, Matthew Elliott

"The experience and opportunity to learn from players who have been to the very top is enormous. This year is exciting for me as I missed last year while in Australia on scholarship. There are currently 14 players from the PNG team on scholarship in Australia which means that there are 14 places in this year's event for new young talent from around provincial areas. I hope that by bringing in these new players we current players are really tested,'' said PNG's Vani Vagi Morea who will lead Brian Bell Bulldogs.
