Dottin the star as Windies Women clinch series opener
Pakistan would have hoped for a better show in their 100th T20I, but the duo's unbroken 109-run stand lifted the visitors to a competitive 160/2, before the bowlers combined to bowl the hosts out for 89 in 18 overs on Thursday, 31 January.
The Windies won the toss and elected to bat. Dottin and Kycia Knight got them off to a good start, adding 34 runs in just 3.3 overs before Knight was caught by Aiman Anwar off Nashra Sandhu for eight.
Dottin continued her attack, taking her team past 50 before Shemaine Campbelle was run out on four with the score 51/2. Nation and Dottin then combined for a spectacular display of power.

It was Nation's maiden T20I half-century and she hit four fours and two sixes. Dottin smashed eight fours and four sixes.
In reply, only two of Pakistan's batters, Javeria Khan (19) and Bismah Maroof (38), reached double-digit scores as Shamilia Connell (3/29) and Shakera Selman (2/8) ran through the top order. Anisa Mohammed, Afy Fletcher and Dottin did the finishing work with the ball.

Pakistan were never in control of the run chase, losing four of their top five batters in the first 10 overs. Maroof tried to lead a revival with her 37-ball knock, which included five boundaries, but found little support at the other end.
The win gives the visitors a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. The second match will also be played in Karachi on Friday, 1 February.
