EAP Announce 2012 Umpires Panel
The ICC East Asia-Pacific region has announced both their elite and supplementary umpires' panels for the 2012 year. They are below:

It has been a year of great achievement for umpires in the East Asia-Pacific region with several selected to officiate at major cricket tournaments around the world.
Nigel Morrison from Vanuatu recently represented EAP Umpires at the New Zealand National Under 18 Tournament in Christchurch and Clive Elly from Papua New Guinea umpired at the Australian Country Cricket Championship in Geelong, Victoria.
EAP Elite Panel umpires, Neil Harrison and Lakani Oala were both invited to officiate at recent ICC Tournaments. Neil at World Cricket League Division 6 in Malaysia and Lakani in Bangladesh as part of the Umpiring team for the ICC Women's World Cup Qualifiers.
"Everyone involved in cricket in our region should be proud of the achievements of our umpires," said ICC EAP Regional Development Manager Kieran McMillan. "To have umpires gaining experience at such important global events and then taking this knowledge back to both our regional tournaments and their domestic competitions is great for the development of umpiring in the region."
ICC EAP Umpires Manager Bob Parry is excited about the announcement of this year's panel.
"Congratulations to all those appointed and I look forward to working closely with you all during the next 12 Months," said Parry.
The next opportunity to showcase East Asia-Pacific umpires will be at the 2012 Pepsi ICC EAP Women's event that begins in Vanuatu on the 14th of May.
