Ehsan Mani elected new chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board
The PCB, on Twitter, said its Board of Governors had elected Mani, the former International Cricket Council boss, unopposed.
Mani will succeed Najam Sethi as PCB chief. Sethi stepped down from the role on 21 August, wishing “PCB all the best and hope our cricket team goes from strength to strength".

Mani was thereafter tipped to win the election for PCB chairman because of his past administrative experience – a chartered accountant by profession, Mani was elected president of the ICC in 2003 after having represented the PCB at the ICC from 1989 to 1996.
He has also served as the ICC’s Finance and Marketing Committee Chairman and a played a key role in the organisation of the ICC Cricket World Cup 1996 in the subcontinent.
It was during his tenure that ICC moved its headquarters from London to Dubai and women’s cricket was integrated with the men’s game.
