England appoint Jacques Kallis as batting consultant ahead of Sri Lanka tour
Kallis, who was named in the ICC Hall of Fame in 2020, is South Africa's most prolific Test batsman and with 45 centuries in the format, is second only to Sachin Tendulkar in the all-time list for most hundreds.
Kallis, who retired from Test cricket in 2014, has performed coaching roles with various teams. Notably, he was South Africa's batting coach during the 2019/20 season when England visited.

England are set to leave for Sri Lanka on 2 January and will play the hosts in two Tests, as part of the ICC World Test Championship, between 14-26 January.
