England pacer Kate Cross has called time on her professional career, stating that she'll retire at the end of this English summer.

Cross made her England debut in October 2013 and went on to earn 102 international caps across all three formats, taking 140 wickets.

"This summer is going to be my last playing professional cricket. It's incredibly hard to imagine ever saying goodbye to playing the sport that has been such a huge part of my life and shaped me into the person I am today. But the final chapter is in sight," Cross wrote on her social media account.

Cross's career-best performance in ODIs came in 2024, when she ran through the Ireland batting to secure 6/30.

She picked 6/70 across the two innings in her debut Test at the WACA in Australia to secure England an Ashes Test win Down Under in 2014.
