Ben Stokes of England

England unveil power-packed squad for Ashes

The visitors also revealed their white-ball squads for the tour of New Zealand.

Ben Stokes will take charge of a 16-member unit for the much anticipated five-Test Ashes series scheduled to begin on November 21 in Perth. The series is a part of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship cycle.

The England skipper is continuing his recovery from a shoulder injury that ruled him out of the fifth Test against India back in July-August.

Meanwhile, more positives for the visitors see spinner Shoaib Bashir and pacer Mark Wood back in the red-ball scheme of things.

Bashir had been ruled out midway through the India Test series after sustaining a finger injury during the Lord's Test.
