'Enough credits in the bank' – Paine backs Warner to rediscover Test form
Warner seemed in all sorts of tangles facing Stuart Broad from round the wicket in seaming English conditions during the drawn Ashes series. The experienced bowler dismissed Warner seven times, while Jofra Archer accounted for him thrice using the same line of attack.
After that lean patch, there have been some questions raised over Warner's spot in the Test side for upcoming assignments, but Paine has backed the opener to keep his spot.

Paine's support for Warner stems from the opener's terrific record at home, where he averages an astounding 59.65. The captain also heaped praise on the opener for staying positive around the group throughout the Ashes despite his own lack of form.
Asked whether Warner is sure to hold his spot, come the first Test of the home season against Pakistan at the Gabba, starting 21 November, Paine replied in the affirmative. "I think he is," he told 7News.
"I think he’s got enough credits in the bank. We know how good a player he is. Opening the batting in England can be really difficult, particularly if you’re a left-hander and Stuart Broad’s bowling at you.
"That was a difficult period for David (but) the way he was around our group as a senior player was outstanding.
"It’s easy to do that when you’re going well but to have him still upbeat and still pushing others to get better when he was going through a rough patch himself was great to see."
