Enthusiasm from Swedish Youngsters

ke Nolemo and Jason Beer from Guttsta Wicked Cricket Club in Sweden recently conducted an afternoon's cricket session for 2 groups of 10-12 year olds in Stockholm.

The kids enjoyed it enormously and the passionate "Howzat!" was in full voice from all playing. Everyone took equal turns at batting and bowling using a tennis ball and pairs batting.

The rush to sign up for the next match nearly trampled ke into the ground. The event was organised in conjunction with the YCA association in Stockholm, who run many camps throughout the year for various age groups.

Guttsta hope to develop this foothold and attempt to train the group leaders to include cricket in their standard activity roster.

Follow up games are being planned for the many interested participants.
