Every winner of ICC Awards 2023

The season of accolades is back, with the ICC Awards celebrating the best performers in cricket across all formats from 2023.

Here are all the winners of all of the awards that have been announced so far:

ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year

Australia skipper Pat Cummins was announced as the winner of the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy for the ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year 2023.

The inspirational captain had a stellar run with the bat and ball, and garnered remarkable team accolades, including a victory in the ICC World Test Championship Final, retention of the Ashes, and a record sixth triumph in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.

Australia captain Pat Cummins was thrilled to be named ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year in 2023.

ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year 2023

Veteran Indian batter Virat Kohli was crowned the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year 2023 for his exceptional year in the 50-over format.

Player of the tournament at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, Virat Kohli was announced as the ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year 2023. The Indian batter had a superb year with the bat, culminating in a record tally of runs at the home World Cup, where his contributions played a major part in India's run to the final.

He also broke the record for most ODI hundreds during the year.

ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year 2023

Usman Khawaja was named as the ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year 2023. Khawaja edged out tough competition from teammate Travis Head, India spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, and England's Joe Root for the award following a successful year that culminated in Australia claiming their first ICC World Test Championship title.

He scored 1210 runs in 13 Tests in the year.

Australia opener Usman Khawaja was not expecting to be named the ICC Men's Test Player of the Year in 2023.

Rachael Heyhoe Flint Award for ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year 2023

England's all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt took home the Award for the second year in a row. 2023 was yet another remarkable year for Sciver-Brunt, with some of her exceptional knocks coming during the home Ashes against Australia.

ICC Women's ODI Cricket of the Year 2023

Chamari Athapaththu, already leading the Women's T20I and ODI sides of the year, added another feather to her cap by winning this feat.

Athapaththu was rewarded for her exceptional year with the bat in ODIs. The Sri Lanka top-order batter made significant contributions with the bat and as captain, notably leading the side to a first bilateral series win over New Zealand.

ICC Men's Associate Cricketer of the Year 2023

Bas de Leede was named as the ICC Men's Associate Cricketer of the Year 2023 for his remarkable all-round run in the year. He was the standout player for the Netherlands at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 Qualifier, and the World Cup in India.

ICC Women's Associate Cricketer of the Year 2023

Queentor Abel made Kenya proud by winning the ICC Women's Associate Cricketer of the Year for 2023. She picked 30 T20I wickets at an unreal average of 7.36, and scored 476 T20I runs at 34.

ICC Men's T20I Cricketer of the Year 2023

For the second successive year, India's T20I beast Suryakumar Yadav has been awarded the ICC Men's T20I Cricketer of the Year award. 

With his eclectic mix of shots, Suryakumar dominated 2023 with an average that closed in on 50 and a strike rate exceeding 150. The backbone of India’s middle order got starts throughout the year, delivering several match-winning contributions.

ICC Women's T20I Cricketer of the Year 2023

Matthews became just the second player from the West Indies to win the honour. Former skipper Stafanie Taylor was the previous cricketer to have won this award in 2015.

Matthews added to her reputation with some sensational knocks with the bat and her sharp work with the ball. Her very best came against Australia in Australia.

ICC Men's Emerging Cricketer of the Year 2023

Rachin Ravindra beat South Africa quick Gerald Coetzee, Sri Lanka pacer Dilshan Madushanka, and India batter Yashasvi Jaiswal for the prized award. He had an amazing ICC Men's Cricket World Cup in India where he amassed a whopping 578 runs.

ICC Women's Emerging Cricketer of the Year 2023

Litchfield edged out Bangladesh teenager Marufa Akter, England quick Lauren Bell and Scotland all-rounder Darcey Carter for the coveted award on the back of a remarkable 12 months at the top of Australia's strong batting order.

ICC Spirit of Cricket Award 2023

A heartwarming moment from the 2023 ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe won the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award 2023. West Indies' Akeal Hosein was consoled by Zimbabwean players after his side lost a high-intensity match.

ICC Umpire of the Year 2023

Former England player Richard Illingworth receives the David Shepherd Trophy for ICC Umpire of the Year for the third time. He had previously won this award in 2019 and 2022. He's the second Englishman to have won this honour, the other being Richard Kettleborough.

ICC Men's Test Team of the Year 2023

The World Test Championship-winning Australia captain Pat Cummins leads the Test Team of the Year. He's joined by compatriots, Usman Khawaja, Travis Head, Alex Carey and Mitchell Starc. India's spin duo, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja are the frontline spinners.

England's Joe Root and Stuart Broad also make the team, while Dimuth Karunaratne and Kane Williamson in the top three.
