On the occasion of 100 days to go until the start of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, the ICC launched the official campaign film, featuring T20 superstars that included Quinton de Kock, Kieron Pollard, Marcus Stoinis, Shaheen Afridi, Shubman Gill and Ali Khan.

The television commercial showcased the numerous locations of the T20 World Cup games in the West Indies and USA, further elevating the excitement for the tournament.

On Thursday, March 14, the ICC unveiled exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, offering a glimpse into all the fun and madness during the creation of the epic TVC.

The excitement for the T20 World Cup is off the charts with overwhelming demand for ballot tickets and the general sale.

The anticipation for the upcoming marquee event was further heightened when ICC released the timelapse video of the one-month construction of the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, which will host the much-awaited clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan on 9 June.

Nassau County International Cricket Stadium celebrates one-month construction as New York gears up for T20 World Cup 2024.

The T20 World Cup begins on 1 June, with 20 teams vying for the most prized trophy in T20I cricket.

All the teams have been divided into four groups of five – Group A features India, Pakistan, Canada, Ireland and co-hosts USA.

Group B consists of the previous two winners of the tournament in England and Australia, along with Namibia, Scotland and Oman.

Other co-hosts West Indies have been paired with New Zealand, Afghanistan, Uganda and Papua New Guinea in Group C while South Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Netherlands and Nepal make up Group D.

After the group stage, the top two teams in each group will form two groups of four in the Super 8 phase and the top two teams in the two Super 8 groups will qualify for the semi-finals.

The all-important final will be played at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on 29 June.
