Fans invited to inspire their nation at ICC World Twenty20 2010
Fans are being given a chance to inspire their teams to victory at the ICC World Twenty20 2010 by selecting the images that will go on the dressing room walls at the tournament.
Each changing room at the tournament will have images specific to each competing team, which may include pictures of star players, supporters celebrating or moments of triumph in famous matches at ICC events.
Fans are being asked to go to the ICC World Twenty20 2010 Facebook page, which can be accessed by clicking HERE and comment on which photographs should be hung on the dressing room walls at the tournament.
It is hoped by having inspirational images in the changing room, selected by fans, it will encourage players to bring the pride that comes with representing your team in nation v nation cricket as part of the tournament's 'Bring It' campaign. The ICC will then use these comments to influence the choice of which pictures will be hung on the changing room walls at the tournament.
This is the latest step in ensuring that the ICC World Twenty20 2010 is inclusive of supporters' views, with fans being invited to bring their loudest noisemakers and wear their most outrageous costumes to matches, as part of an effort to create a wonderful Caribbean style atmosphere in the stadiums.
This year's event also has an emphasis on affordability for supporters with the matches accessible to all. Ticket prices cost from just US$3 for ground entry to single group stage matches to US$5 for double-headers, US$8 for entry to Super Eight matches while tickets for the semi-finals in St Lucia range from US$10-20 and general admission to the men's and women's finals in Barbados on 16 May costing US$20 with a premium stand ticket for that double-header available for US$40.
